Today is my book birthday. Following Ophelia is out – and it’s on Amazon as a ‘hot new release’ – though if you’d like to follow Mary’s journey as an artist’s muse, you can get it on Hive instead. It’s cheaper (!) and you’ll be supporting your local bookshop. Which can only be good.
To celebrate, I’m on MuggleNet , talking about being inspired by Jo Rowling, and the magic of art. I’ve also been interviewed for Standard Issue magazine by the lovely Anne Miller, who is a QI elf among other things and a fabulous person to spend an evening chatting to. I love the way she wrote up our conversation, about the writer’s responsibility to teen readers and the fun of researching 1850s London.
Now I must get on with editing book 2. Unveiling Venus is out in the summer. Watch this space.
