Writing

I now have a shed at the end of the garden, where I write about three days a week, when I’m not on tour or looking after the children. However, sometimes the shed is too close to home and cosy, so I still head out to the local coffee shops and libraries to get some inspiration.

Writing is hard! I love every single thing about it: creating characters, researching, plotting, sitting in the library eating a Twirl and wondering what to say next, then hearing from readers and writing back. But it’s tough. So if you want to be a writer and yet you find it tricky to actually do, don’t worry. We’re all in the same boat!
