I like Your books very, very much. I read it five to six times. I think itΒ΄s a bit bad that you have to change the beginning of the 3. book. IΒ΄m a german and I think that I would like to read the english books too. My friends in school are often annoyed because I often recite something of the book.

    Dear Sophia Bennet,

You came to my school very recently and I would like to thank you. Your speech was very inspiring and I think I might write my own book one day. Thank you for telling me her name is Edwina, not Theodora otherwise my friends would have been unbearable! Please keep writing, I am really enjoying your books.

      Hi Teddie

It was great to meet you. I hope you get to write your own book! Sorry for nearly stealing your name. I couldn’t have chosen Theodora, actually, because Ted hates her name and I think Theodora is a lovely name, so she wouldn’t have minded that! So glad you’re enjoying the books.

Everytime i watch it i always move closer to the screen. ( i know i’m wierd like that πŸ™‚ ) Thanks Heidi πŸ™‚

Thank you for replying πŸ™‚ I do have a few more in mind but I think my idea of what Harry looks like might be different to yours. The actor i have in mind is called Tommy Bastow, i have a huge crush on him and he was in angus thongs and perfect snogging playing Dave the Laugh. He’s on the BT adverts now. I did think of Helena Bonham Carter as Jennys mum (purly because she is my hero) but I think someone with more Jenny like features would be better. I’m looking forward to seeing the book in the future, and possibly a film as well Thanks again Heidi πŸ™‚

I’ll look out for Tommy Bastow. Funnily enough, one of the people from Angus, Thongs is involved with the Threads TV project, so it could almost, possibly happen! I’d cast HBC in anything. She’s brilliant. She’d be good as Nonie’s mum, too. (And I want Joanna Lumley for Granny. Who wouldn’t?) sophia xxx

I have all 3 of your threads books. It isn’t a trilogy is it? It would be a shame if it was, i really want to know more about Nonie and Crow and Edie and Jenny.
I must say I always imagine what a book would look like on screen when i read it (i would love to be a film producer or something (like Tim Burton) so i’m always writing scripts and writing down new ideas for films. New ways to do animations (i love doing animations as well, making things look 3D is always fun) and do different stunts. If Crows designs were bought to life on screen it would be PHENOMENAL!!!!! And I’m already thinking who i would love to be seen as the cast, i’m thinking possibly Clemence Poesy (Fleur Delacour in Harry Potter) as Svetlana. What do you think? Heidi πŸ™‚

Hi Heidi. I’m afraid it is just a trilogy for now! I might write another book in the series later, but it won’t be for a while. I agree that Threads could look fabulous onscreen. I like your idea of Clemence Poesy for Svetlana. Did you have any other actor/characters in mind? (Zac Effron is too old to play Joe Yule now, which is a shame.) sophia xxx

    Hiya Sophia,

You are my absolute favourite author, ever! I first read Threads in 2009, on holiday and my mum kept telling me; “put it down, go in the pool or play ping pong!” but I just couldn’t!

Now 3 years later…I’ve re-read the book over and over and over again, it’s almost falling apart, that’s how good it is! It got me wondering if you had any other books so researched you and…WHERE HAVE I BEEN?! I was so excited when I saw you had wrote the sequel! Ordering them of Amazon asap!

I don’t really know what else to say other than you are my favourite author…carry on writing forever, please?!

That’s really good that you make sure! I stay away from usuing Tide laundry detergent and ajax and dawn dish detergent because of the company they are with. I want to purchase the cruelty- free nailpolish remover from a store called Whole Foods. That store has many things there that is not tested on animals like lotions, shampoos, ect. Oh and Mary Kate makeup is cruelty- free! I just stay away from companies like Johnson & Johnson, Colgate- Palmolive, Palmolive, P&G, etc. So I use Tom’s Of Maine toothpaste and also Palmers cocoa butter is against animal testing and Burts Bees chapstick and natural products do not test on animals!

Hi! I do not know if you remember me but I used to always write you and i’m from the U.S.! Do you have the same information so I can write you more letters? And did you know that some gums have gelatin which is from a innocent pig? If you have to eat Eggs (which i am not recommending) buy uncaged or caged- free Eggs so the Chickens who provide you with the Eggs you eat can run freely:) Some nailpolish removers have gelatin (pig) and some bar soaps are made from animal fat tallow(cow) or lard (pig) and candies and snacks and yogurts like starburst have gelatin this world doesnt need animals in everything! …If we have stuff without it then the other products dont need it either ( They test some nailpolishes, dish and laundry detergent, toothpaste , makeup, cosmetics, household cleaners, deodorants and other things like cigarettes on animals. And they hurt cows to get their milk they make them produce more than they are suppose to. Make sure your stuff is cruelty free opi and sally hansen and LA colors nail polish are cruelty-free check labels! Tell everyone I want there to be no more cruelty. Animals deserve freedom. Hi sophia! I’ve read all your books and love them all so much! I love how they are such a mix of fashion, saving the world and friendship! I didn’t know you could fit so much into a book! Please write more books!

i saw your book THE LOOK on my school library shelf and it just caught my eye. i don’t know why but from all the other books ur book stood out. so i went and read the blurb and the first word i said, wow this book is sooo good before i even read through, so i went and sat down and read for 10 minutes on the first chapter before the bell rudely interrupted me.
sad thing was i couldn’t brow it because i have books borrowed already. i’m going to make sure no one takes it. another sad thing is i have to wait until after EXAMS to read it. i’ve never read any of your books but i think now your on the list for my favourite authors.
