To celebrate the launch of FOLLOWING OPHELIA, I asked you to paint a portrait in words or pictures, and to tell me why you like art.
I can finally announce that the winner of a signed copy of the book, and some artistic goodies, is ….

And this is her amazing winning portrait, entitled ‘Self’
Anayis says,
“I’m an Animation student who loves to read and I have always had an interest in art watching my mother paint on silk creating beautiful silk scarfs … I’m going to go into studying animation production next academic year, I like to work with patterns and different materials to create illustrations and moving images. The Ophelia painting was actually something I used as inspiration for a section of my Final Major Project and has guided me from the beginning. When I paint or write I feel like I can project my emotions into something more.”
