Ten years ago, I so wanted to be a writer for children. And then my first novel got published. (I recently wrote about that moment for Chicken House here, in honour of the new competition. Six novels down the line, with the seventh due out next year, and after countless visits and festivals and meet-ups with other writers, I can’t wait to share what I’ve learned, and to learn from fellow writers too.
